Welcome from Mrs. Svetz!

Hi! I'm Mrs. Svetz, and I teach 5th grade English language arts at Grandview Elementary School. I graduated in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in applied developmental psychology, and a master's degree in elementary education. I've been teaching ever since, working in some private schools and substitute teaching until I found my home here at Grandview!

This is my second year with 5th grade, but my fifth year at Grandview! I was previously teaching in one of the Pre-K classrooms, and you might remember me as Miss Waugaman (I got married last summer!), and  you may have seen me with Pre-K, at parent drop off, or parent pick-up.
