Welcome from Mrs. Svetz!

Hi! I'm Mrs. Svetz, and I teach 5th grade English language arts, math, and social sciences at Grandview Elementary School.

I graduated in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in applied developmental psychology, and a master's degree in elementary education. I've been teaching ever since, working in some private schools and substitute teaching until I found my home here at Grandview! This is my third year with 5th grade, but my sixth year at Grandview. I was previously in one of the PreK classrooms, so if you attended PreK here, you might remember me from there!
